Hello and welcome back to our quarterly newsletter!

It’s been a busy few months at The Community Impact Initiative with an award win, participant training and a huge amount of progress on our Pen y Cymoedd funded project in Clyne.

Swansea bay business awards

We were absolutely thrilled to win the ‘Business in the Community Award’ at the Swansea Bay Business Awards.

We would like to extend a massive congratulations to the fantastic individuals and organisations nominated for the various award categories, and for showing such resilience during a tough year.

first aid training

Last month we supported our wonderful participants in gaining their Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
 
We’re proud to say that they all passed!

We’re already three months into our Pen Y Cymoedd funded project in Clyne. Our participants, along with our tutors, have been extremely busy learning new skills and gaining confidence while undertaking work in the house. They’ve taken down walls, turned their hands at plastering and gotten to grips with dotting and dabbing.
